Sundar Pichai Says AI’s Future Is About Augmenting Human Capabilities, Not Replacing Them
This week's AI roundup feels like the state of a fast changing ecosystem. From OpenAI's Learning Accelerator in India to Google's Gemini for Government and everything in between, including lawsuits, challenges and fraud assessment (Perplexity is fighting lawsuits in Japan), it feels like there is a lot going on in the AI world. Additionally, new tools including Adobe Acrobat Studio and Grammarly AI Agents are redefining productivity. Overall, funding for AI departments is surging globally and is over $118 billion dollars with multi-billion rounds awarded to Field AI, TinyFish and Perplexity. And, as Sundar Pichai reminds is, the potential future of AI is not removing humans from the equation but augmenting humans augments.
